Press Choose a clip and pick an MP4, MOV or WebM video.
Pick a length under Loop to, and turn on Blend the loop point if you see a jump.
Choose the Sound, then press Make my loop and download the MP4.
Rain on a window, a fireplace, a desk lamp at night. A few seconds of footage like that, looped for hours, makes a sleep, study or ambience video. Lengths here run from 10 minutes to 10 hours.
To YouTube, a looped video is one ordinary MP4. Uploads can run up to 12 hours or 256 GB, whichever comes first, and anything over 15 minutes needs a verified account. To earn from ads, YouTube asks for content that is your own and not mass-produced, generic or repetitive, so use footage you shot or have the rights to, and give each video its own scene and title.
The jump you notice is the moment the last frame cuts back to the first. It hides best in clips where the camera stays still and the movement keeps going: rain, flames, water, drifting clouds.
If you can still see it, turn on Blend the loop point. It fades the last 0.5 to 2 seconds of the clip into its start, so each loop is that much shorter and the cut is gone. Blending re-encodes the loop to H.264 and works on clips up to 2 minutes.
Under Sound, Keep the clip's sound loops the clip's own audio in step with the picture. Add your music replaces it with a track you choose, and the track repeats to fill the video with no gap between repeats. Either way, the last 3 seconds fade out, so the video doesn't end on a cut.
An H.264, HEVC, VP9 or AV1 clip is copied, not re-encoded, so every loop looks exactly like your clip and long loops are quick to make. The file grows with each loop: a 1-minute, 50 MB clip looped to 10 hours comes to about 30 GB. Chrome and Edge save it straight to a folder you pick, so you need that much free space. Other browsers build the file first and then download it, so leave about twice that.
Lengths round to whole loops, and the readout shows the exact time and the number of loops. Loops up to 10 minutes are free. Longer ones, up to 10 hours, need a free Chillframe account.

Not for H.264, HEVC, VP9 or AV1 clips. They're copied as they are, so each loop has the same quality and size as your clip. Other formats, and loops with a blend, are re-encoded to H.264, which works for clips up to 2 minutes.
Yes. Under Sound, pick Add your music and choose an MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC or OGG file. It replaces the clip's sound and repeats with no gap until the video ends.
Your clip's size times the number of loops, so a 1-minute clip looped to 10 hours is about 600 times its size. The readout shows the estimate before you start. Chrome and Edge save straight to a folder you pick, so you need that much free space. Other browsers need about twice that while the video downloads.
The last frame doesn't match the first. Turn on Blend the loop point to fade the end into the start, or pick a clip where the camera stays still.
No. The loop is made in your browser and saved to your device. Your clip and music never leave it.
