The quiz matches you against 27 faceless niches, from lofi study beats and rain sounds to personal finance explainers and true crime. The six questions cover what decides whether a channel fits your life: the hours you have each week, camera, voice, the kind of video, what you can spend on tools, and what you're into.
Two answers rule niches out completely. Pick no voice at all and every niche that needs narration drops out. Say you'd never go on camera and the hands-only niches, DIY and cooking, drop out too.
The rest are scored. Matching interests and the video type you chose add points. A niche that usually needs more hours or more money than you have loses points, and if it still makes your list it carries an amber note saying so. Whatever you answer, you get 5 different ideas.
Each idea has a Difficulty label and an Ad rates label. Both come from the niche matrix in the Chillframe guide to faceless channel ideas, and both are editorial judgment rather than measured figures.
Ad rates compare what advertisers tend to pay in each niche. Finance and software videos rate High because banks and software companies pay more to reach those viewers. Sleep and study music rate Low per view, but the videos run for hours, so one view can carry a lot of watch time.
Ad rates are not what you earn. YouTube's RPM, what a channel makes per 1,000 views, is lower than the advertiser rate because it comes after YouTube's share and counts views that showed no ad.
Pick one niche and stay with it. To earn from ads in the YouTube Partner Program, a channel needs 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 watch hours in the last 12 months or 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days.
When you apply, YouTube's reviewers look at your channel's main theme, your most viewed and newest videos, and your titles and descriptions. One clear theme makes the channel easy to judge, and it tells viewers why they should subscribe.
YouTube also doesn't pay for content that is mass-produced or repetitive. On an automated channel, each video needs to be its own: new music, a new scene and its own title.
Choose music, sounds or ambience with under 5 hours a week and your list fills with lofi, rain, white noise, ocean and sleep music niches. They need no voice and no face, and most of them are rated Easier.
These are the channels Chillframe makes. Describe the video you want, and Chillframe makes the music and the pictures and puts them together as a finished video. Every track is made fresh, so no two videos share one. Make it a Series and connect YouTube, and it automatically makes and publishes fresh videos on the days you choose.

Still stuck? Try the help centerIn the finder's data, the niches rated Easier are mostly music and ambience: lofi study beats, rain sounds, white noise, ocean sounds and meditation music. They work in under 5 hours a week with no voice and no face.
Yes. Every idea in this finder works without your face. Two of them, DIY and hands-only cooking, show your hands, and they only appear if you say hands are fine.
Personal finance, software reviews, AI and tech news, business documentaries and true crime rate High in the Chillframe niche matrix. All of them need a voice, your own or an AI one, and usually 5 to 15 hours a week or more.
To earn from ads in the YouTube Partner Program you need 1,000 subscribers. You also need 4,000 watch hours in the last 12 months or 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days.
Yes. To earn from ads, YouTube asks for content that is your own and not mass-produced, generic or repetitive, so each video needs new music, a new scene and its own title. Chillframe makes every track fresh.
Change one thing at a time: the scene, the mood, the length or the time of day. For a rain channel that could be rain on a tent, a 10-hour thunderstorm or rain on a cafe window. Most ideas in your list link to a guide with more.
